A child from Pokhara, Sisne Rural Municipality-3 of Rukum East, has been rescued by helicopter. This afternoon, while playing at his home, Lokendra KC’s 7-year-old son, Pratus KC, was injured after falling from the balcony and was airlifted to Nepalgunj by a Nepal Army helicopter. According to the District Police Office, Rukum East, the 7-year-old child Pratus has suffered a fracture in the right knee bone.

Police stated that the injured child is in a moderate condition (able to speak). After receiving initial treatment at the District Hospital, Rukum East, the 7-year-old Pratus was airlifted to Surkhet for further treatment.
